Head, Neck and Shoulder Massage

Head Neck and Shoulder Massage

This is a therapeutic massage which includes the upper back, shoulder, neck and face and many people complain of tension in these areas when under stress or frustrated, especially when working long hours.

Our head, neck and shoulder massage is very relaxing and helps target the places in which your body holds the most tension. Our therapists massage you with the level of pressure required, whether you need a strong massage to relieve built up tension, or a gentle massage and tranquil experience if you just need a break from busy life.

A head, neck and shoulder massage is a wonderful way to ease shoulder and neck tension and may help reduce stress, release anxiety, increase circulation, reduce muscle tension, reduce headaches and migraine as well as boost the immune system.

Swedish Aromatherapy Massage

Swedish Aromatherapy Massage

Swedish Aromatherapy Massage focuses on the superficial layers of your muscle and is designed to relieve stress, tension, making you feeling renewed, relaxed and revived. The massage pressure and technique will be adapted to suit your preferences and needs.

The Swedish Aromatherapy Massage treatment gives you a relaxing massage that is done in combination with plant oils that give off a strong, but pleasant aroma in an attempt to promote relaxation in the body and the mind. The aroma also helps promote a sense of well being and overall healing.

The therapeutic use of essential oils can affect all of the systems in the body, particularly the muscular, circulatory, the immune system, and the nervous system.

Swedish Aromatherapy Massages are suitable for individuals who have acute or chronic conditions and can also help those suffering from a cold or the flu, headaches or a slowed metabolism.

Foot Massage / Reflexology

Foot Massage - Reflexology

Reflexology is a holistic treatment which involves pressing and massaging areas of the feet and hands which correspond to various body systems and organs. The process of Reflexology relieves tension, brings about a state of ‘energy balance’ and creates a feeling of relaxation and well-being, rather like a full body massage.

Think about how much stress your feet go through each day. Standing, running, jumping, and walking etc. Asides the fact that a foot massage feels great and is very relaxing, reflexologists believe that overall health begins in your feet and travels up.

The benefits aren’t purely physical. A good foot massage can also improve your mental and emotional state. Most of those who seek out a reflexologist are looking for relaxation and stress relief. With less stress in your life, your chance of heart disease drops considerably.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage is primarily designed to relieve severe tension in the body’s muscles. The difference between a deep tissue massage and the relaxation massage in terms of target muscles is the deep tissue massage targets the muscles beneath the top surface muscles, where the relaxation massage focuses on the muscles directly beneath the skin.

When you have a Neeya Therapy deep tissue massage our therapists use slower strokes with a continuous and more direct deep pressure on the muscles, either following or going across the fibers of the muscles and tendons.

The majority of our customers who request a deep tissue massage are often people who experience consistent pain or partake in heavy physical activity. Some are athletes but many are everyday individuals who have sustained physical injuries.

Hot Stone Therapy

Hot Stone Therapy

Hot stones are applied directly to the body. It is more gentle than a conventional massage, but can reach much deeper and be more intense. This ancient technique is designed to balance and stimulate energy throughout the body.

The stones, which are naturally smoothened by the currents of rivers in which they originally come from, are usually made of basalt. This type of stone is rich in iron and can therefore retain heat for a longer period of time.

The stones are placed on the body at key energy centers of the body, to recreate the balance of the body and the mind. These key points are often found on the back, in the palms and in between toes. The importance of using the stones lies within the relationship between muscles and heat. When the hot stones are placed on muscles below the skin, the muscles become relaxed, allowing therapists to apply deeper pressure, either by using the stones or by hand.

Visited Neeya today and I must say it was a lovely experience, greeted by two ladies and shown into a nicely decorated and clean massage room with candles on and soft Thai music. On arriving I told the ladies on my problem areas (neck and shoulder) she took time out to concentrate on those areas for a while ensuring she got to the root! After the massage I was offered a cup of tea or a water and was left to dress. I left Neeya feeling relaxed, refreshed and comfortable. I will be returning! Thanks ladies xx
